The programme is designed through a blended approach, with students required to follow lectures both online and in person. Healthmark Academy will place students within a healthcare setting to follow 100 hours of unpaid practice placement. The practice placement is compulsory for all students following the BTEC International Foundation Diploma Level 3 as is also assessed. Unit 12 includes both theory and practical delivery.
How many hours do I need to dedicate to studying and assessment work?
The programme requires a total of 510 guided learning hours, which include a blend of online and in-person lectures, practical sessions, and clinical work placements. Students need to dedicate an average of another 500 hours to self-study, research, and assignment writing.
