HEALTHMARK ACADEMY HEAD
THERESE CAMILLERI
Therese is the Head of Healthmark Academy having joined Healthmark in 2022. Therese holds 28 years of experience in education having held positions as Director of Apprenticeship & Work Based Learning Department MCAST for 4 years, where she coordinated the start-up of the Apprenticeship & Work-Based Learning Department (MCAST) and lead the implementation reform of the national apprenticeship scheme. Therese also held the position of a senior lecturer of Health and Social Care at MCAST for 10 years and is specialising on work-based learning and practice placement in the field of Health & Social Care. Therese holds a first-class degree in History and Communication, a PGCE, a Masters in Diplomacy and a Masters in Human Rights Law from the University of Malta together with an MSc in Social Sciences form the University of Leicester. Therese is currently reading the final year of her PhD at the University of Malta, specialising on learning outcomes and apprenticeship.
